Background Info

The 24 Hours Of Le Mans race is part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and is held in the Sarthe region of France every June. Established in 1923 under the name "Grand Prix d’Endurance de 24 Heures - Coupe Rudge-Whitworth," it has become one of the most prestigious sports car races in the world and is part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, alongside the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500.

Three categories of cars compete on the same track at the same time, racing for (yes, you guessed it) 24 hours non-stop. Three drivers for each car share the responsibility of guiding their vehicle round the 8.5 mile/13.6 kilometer track, with frequent pit stops to refuel and change tires. Enduring nighttime driving and occasional harsh weather conditions, each driver is permitted to drive no more than 4 hours in a 6-hour period and no more than 14 hours total.

The categories of cars, as featured on our design, are:

Hypercar:
Hypercar is exclusively intended for professional racing drivers, emphasizing high-performance engineering and strict technical regulations. The vehicles are a mix of prototypes and production-based cars, feature both hybrid and non-hybrid variants, have a closed cockpit design and are fitted with Michelin tires. They develop up to 680 horsepower, have a maximum speed of 205 mph / 330 kph and must meet a minimum weight of 1,030 kilograms.

LMP2:
LMP2 vehicles are again characterized by closed-cockpit designs and have V8 engines producing around 600 horsepower. They must meet precise technical specifications, including a minimum weight of 950 kilograms, and use standardized components to control costs and ensure fair competition. Constructed with a carbon fiber chassis and fitted with Goodyear tires, they can reach a maximum speed of 196 mph / 315 kph. This category allows both professional and amateur drivers.

LMGT3:
LMGT3 cars are production sports cars, from manufacturers such as Porsche, Ferrari, and Mercedes, that have been transformed into competitive racing machines by modifying them to include a roll cage and aerodynamic adjustments. Their engines produce around 500-600 horsepower, resulting in a top speed of about 186 mph / 300 kph. The cars are entered by private teams only, are fitted with Goodyear tires, must weigh at least 1,245 kilograms and can be driven by both professional and amateur drivers.

Digital Printing

Digital printing is pretty straightforward where the design is printed directly onto the material, which in this case is usually a paper product. This technique is used for our notebooks.
