Background Info

On the surface, 0.1 + 0.2 != 0.3 looks like basic arithmetic. But programmers know that pesky exclamation point means it's really really not. It's actually 0.30000000000000004.

So why doesn't 0.1 + 0.2 = 0.3? To get really technical about it, it comes down to something called floating point math and the fact that computers can only store integers (or whole numbers) natively.
